Built on the ingredients and techniques of Korean cuisine, TaKorean is a delicious combination of Korean inspired flavors with a Latin-American twist. Made from scratch using the freshest ingredients, it’s a bold, colorful and balanced food experience.

TaKorean’s highly acclaimed food truck opened in September of 2010 and served the first Korean tacos in DC. Founder and CEO Mike Lenard was determined to provide healthy, well-balanced meals at an affordable price to his fellow Washingtonians.  Since 2010, TaKorean has expanded to four fast-casual restaurants around DC, with their most recent located nearby at 13th & U Street NW.
