Markets & More runs on a small team

A small core team and a wide volunteer base keep the markets running every weekend.

Our team

Markets & More is led by a small market director and operations team, supported by part-time market staff and volunteers on market days. The full team — including market managers, the Bonus Bucks coordinator, and program leads — works closely together to plan each season, recruit producers, run programming, and keep the markets running smoothly.

Volunteers and market-day staff

On any given market day, you'll see:

  • The market manager — usually at the manager's tent near the entrance, handling SNAP/EBT, Bonus Bucks, and any vendor or customer questions.
  • The chef demo coordinator — at the demo tent, hosting that day's chef and managing tastings.
  • Bonus Bucks staff and volunteers — running token transactions and explaining the matching program.
  • Gleaning volunteers — at the end of market day, collecting donated produce for food banks.
