Back by popular demand: Marcella Kriebel. The DC based artist, illustrator, and author returns to our market this Sunday and you won’t want to miss her!  She just finished up a drawing for nearby Common Good City Farm that they are selling onsite at the farm — a fun homage to the urban farm and our neighborhood. There are also some beautiful new prints, like this one, celebrating food and justice:

Marcella’s book, Mi Comida Latina, is comprised of her hand lettered, illustrated recipes inspired by her travels throughout Latin America.  The book is available nationwide though Simon and Shuster, but stop by the market for an autographed copy and pick up some of her other food related artwork for your kitchen walls.  She will be preparing recipes from the book featuring farmers market ingredients.
