Robin founded Markets & More and runs the day-to-day across both markets.
Robin Shuster founded Markets & More to bring producer-only farmers markets to DC neighborhoods that hadn't had them before. The 14&U Farmers' Market opened first, followed by the Bloomingdale Farmers' Market. Both markets have grown over the years into community fixtures of their respective neighborhoods.
Beyond running the markets, Robin consults on farmers market operations, cookbook projects, and food-related small businesses. She knows the regional producer landscape — DC, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, and Pennsylvania — as well as anyone in the area, and has helped shape food access policy in the District through years of running SNAP/EBT and Bonus Bucks matching at the markets.
